Among the Joshua Trees
I had been wanting to get back to Joshua Tree National Park since the beginning of the year. It had been a busy few months with life, work and family. Not to mention the wildfires happening across southern California. Once things began to calm down a bit, I was finally able to get some quiet time in the park. On this day trip, I brought both a digital and film setup and just let the day dictate which set of tools i’d use.
It turns out I ended up using the film kit for majority of the day. I won’t get the scans back for a few weeks but until then, here are all the images I shot that day with the digital kit (3 total). It was a really long day but filled with a lot of fun out in the park. Of the 3 images, I gravitate to the second subject. Images 2 and 3 are different compositions of the same subject. Not sure how I feel about them but i’ll check back in on these images later in the year. Thanks for taking a look. - Marco
