Eastern Sierra in the Winter
We had an opportunity to visit the Eastern Sierra for a quick weekend trip. This was the first time Kat had been to the area. It was great to share this beautiful area with her. We had a great time exploring the areas around June Lake, Mammoth Lakes, Mono Lake and some of the more hidden areas.
On Sunday afternoon, we met up with our buddies Jay and Mack for more exploration and to also film the last portion of our wedding film. They shared with us some of their favorite and locations in the area which were beautiful. As the evening came to an end, the sky transformed from overcast gray to an incredible sky fire! It was truly an unexpected gift. After we filmed the last clip we all just enjoyed the quiet peace and the never-ending light show. It was such a blessing to share that moment with truly awesome people.
