Sanctuary - Vol. 2

This is the second installment in my Sanctuary series. As with Sanctuary - Vol. 1, all of the images were made in a local botanic garden close to our home. This Spring, I spent quite a bit of time at the garden exploring. It was great to see it slowly change visually through spring and into the summer months. Many, if not most, of the compositions from Vol. 1 looked noticeably different or no longer existed. As I look back on images from both collections, they bring back fond memories of countless days enjoying the garden. Over the past year, I have a feeling of joy knowing that not only has the garden grown and changed, but so have I. I look forward to many more years of visiting this wonderful garden that has been a place of peace as well as a creative playground for me.
