Return to Zion

In early, we took a family trip to Zion National Park. We were excited to introduce our son to a place that we both enjoy and a place that I have spent many meaningful days exploring over the years. We had a blast exploring the main canyon and watching him take in all the colorful trees and towering canyon walls. My personal highlight was taking him to explore the east side of the park and roaming the sandstone formations. Vincent really enjoyed standing and playing on all the rocks. Our hopes are that memories of wonder, mystery and exploration are slowly embedded in him via these adventures outside. We hope he’ll remember these times once he’s older. Even if not, he’ll have many images of him as a little one exploring this wonderful park. It was a great time in the park and we hope to get him back there soon. We even got him his own National Parks Passport to stamp when he’s older. I did bring two cameras on this trip and was able to make a few compositions. I did hold on to one or two favorites for a future gallery that will be released in early 2025. Stay tuned for that one. In the meantime, below are some sketches from the park. Thanks for following along. Until next time. - Marco
